Come cambiare il BIOS da Legacy a UEFI?

- Riavvia il PC ed entra nel BIOS tramite l’apposito tasto;
- Cerca la sezione relativa al “Boot”, opzioni spesso raggruppate nella sezione “Settings”;
- Cerca la dicitura “Boot mode select” e converti il valore da Legacy a UEFI;
Cosa vuol dire Legacy system?
Un sistema legacy, in informatica, è un sistema informatico, un’applicazione o un componente obsoleto, che continua ad essere usato poiché l’utente (di solito un’organizzazione) non intende o non può rimpiazzarlo. Legacy equivale a versione “retrodatata” (rispetto ai sistemi/tecnologie correnti).
Come impostare UEFI BIOS?
Ecco come fare:
- Selezionare Avvia> Impostazioni > aggiornamento & sicurezza > ripristino.
- In Avvio avanzato seleziona Riavvia ora.
- In Scegli un’opzione seleziona Risoluzione dei problemi > Opzioni avanzate > Impostazioni firmware UEFI, quindi Riavvia.
Cosa significa uscita Legacy?
Significa che hai a disposizione una uscita normale classica, la legacy, che viaggia su un cavo separato. Poi hai un’altra uscita su cui viaggiano quattro canali contemporaneamente.
