Who is the Ravenmaster of the Tower of London?
-Who is Ravenmaster and what’s his job? The current Ravenmaster at the Tower of London is Chris Skaife and holds the position of appointed Ravenmaster. He has been the Ravenmaster since 2011. He has the unique job of caring for the raven’s safety and welfare, but he is also a member of ‘The Body of Yeoman Warders’ known as a ‘Beefeater’.

He now has the additional title of Ravenmaster as he is responsible for the six ravens that reside at the Tower. It’s a job that was voted strangest in England, but the way Skaife describes it shows it to be a strictly regimented yet hands-off position that allows the birds to be as wild as possible.

How old is the oldest Raven in the UK?
