Le pietre che costituivano gli elementi verticali erano prima trascinate in corrispondenza di un foro sul terreno, vi venivano fatte scivolare all’interno con un sistema di leve appoggiate a un “castello” di tronchi. La pietra era poi sistemata in verticale tirandola con funi, e il foro riempito con sassi.
