Il future è un contratto derivato negoziato su mercati regolamentati mediante il quale acquirente e venditore si impegnano a scambiarsi una determinata quantità di una certa attività finanziaria o reale (detta attività sottostante) a un prezzo prefissato e con liquidazione differita a una data futura prestabilita.
